## The mechanism

Automated remediation should reproduce first, narrow the causal surface, make the smallest patch, verify the original failure and nearby behavior, then preserve evidence.

## Expected evidence

A design outline with reproduction, faultLocalization, patchVerification plus an explicit failure mode or trade-off.
