Turning a visitor into an activated user: hero, proof, single CTA.

- Difficulty: core
- Tracks: Go-to-Market

## Mental model

A landing page has one job: get the right visitor to take one action. Headline that says what it is and who it is for, one clear call to action, social proof, no distractions. If a visitor cannot tell what the product does in 3 seconds, you have lost them.

## Practice

### Critique a real landing page

Pick a real landing page (not your own). Score it against: clear hero (3s rule), specific audience, single primary CTA, social proof, friction-free signup. Write a rewrite for the hero section.

**Expected evidence:** A scoring rubric (1-5 per criterion) + a rewritten hero (headline + sub + CTA).

## Review prompts

- Traffic is high, conversion is low, and the copy is accurate. What do you check first?

## Build evidence
